What are Consignments?
Consignment is an arrangement in which goods are left with us to sell.  The pawn shop will take a portion of the sale price and return a portion to the seller.
You will recieve 60% of  the sale price of all consigned items sold and the Pawn Shop will keep 40%.
How can I consign items to the Pawn Shop
If you have never consigned with us before, we will need to see what you plan on selling to see if it suitable for the shop.  Also read the section on what can be sold in our shop.

All consigners will be required to sign off on the Consignment Terms of Service prior to consigning

The following are the steps involved in consigning items.

  1. Read the Tinker Tobar's Consignment Terms of Service.   Make sure you know the rules.
  2. Prepare a list of your items on our template spreadsheet and the price that you feel the item will bring. Mark your items with stickers or other means to help you match them to your inventory list.  We recommend using your initials and the item index number from your inventory sheet.
  3. Submit the list by email to the Pawn Shop.  This will allow us to print and prepare your tags.
  4. Arrange an appointment to bring in your items.
  5. Work with our staff to match your items to the tags and to get your items tagged and on the shelves.
  6. Collect your unsold items and your seller proceeds at the end of faire.
